Christian Women's Fellowship
The group meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 9:30am. Various Bible studies have been conducted over the years including "Women of the Bible," "How to Have a Mary Heart in a Martha World," and others. The members support various outreach projects including The Church Pantry, The Angel Tree Project, Twin City Mission and others.
Christian Men's Fellowship
This group meets monthly, on the third Tuesday at 12:30pm, for fellowship and lunch at various locations. Please contact the church for each month's location.
Various projects are conducted during the year.
Puppet Ministry
Thanks to the artistry of Ron and Jane Colbert, First Christian enjoys an engaging puppet ministry the third Sunday of every month at our worship services. The Colberts prayerfully and lovingly write and perform a message delivered with humor and insight for both children and adults!
Bible Studies
First Christian Church has long conducted several bible studies each year. Those studies have varied in subject from A Study of Revelation, A Study of Advent, A Study for Lent, and studies on many books of the Bible. The objective of each study is to help us learn more about God and his son, Jesus, and to help us become better Christians. Some of these studies have been conducted as House Church and some have been conducted at the church property. A Sunday School Class is conducted each Sunday for persons of all ages and interests to once again help us to become more knowledgeable and diligent in our faith.
Outreach Partners
First Christian Church is committed to outreach activities by allocating 10% of its budget each year to various outreach partners. In addition to monetary donations various church members also work in community organizations including Hospice Brazos Valley, Habitat for Humanity, Voices for Children, the Church Pantry and others.
